Most Analyst users I have talked to agree with me that having to click on each cell to be completed within a transaction versus just using the tab key is just too time consuming. Many have told me that it is a deal breaker that prevents them from even considering switching.
Thank you for your feedback. There are definitely some differences with the keyboard between analyst and accounting. When in the transaction screen, you can tab through, and any time there is a drop down menu like the type of transaction, account, etc. you can press enter to open the box. To select an item from the drop down menu, you can then type the account, or use the arrow keys to find it.
Have realized out that it can be done (by discussion with support) but very cumbersome. Yes, if this was not free with land purchase (Young Farmer) I would not use this software. If this is not implemented by subscription end, I would consider moving back to ag expert, and deal with the data loss instead of paying fees.
