For accountants to be able to set up a password for a specific date to stop their clients from making back dated entries into a previous fiscal year where their accountant has already done Year End adjustment entries for them
This is extremely important to prevent a client from changing entries while completing the year-end, and to prevent changes after year-end has been completed.
This is a very much needed feature. Even if there was a "year end" mode to keep the prior year closed until the year end is complete.
