EFT payment applied to multiple accounts payable

EFTs becoming more popular as a way to pay. The EFT is designed to pay many suppliers with one transaction (one amount goes out of my bank but gets dispersed to many accounts payable). There does not seem to be a way to do this and apply that payment to various payable accounts in AgExpert. In my opinion, having to do a separate EFT for every account payable defeats the purpose of using EFTs. Many of my suppliers are moving to EFT because that is how they pay their suppliers.

Thanks Mike! I wasn't aware that banks were doing that, though the fee savings makes a lot of sense. It seems like something simple to implement but there would be some foundational things around the way that we process transaction data that would need to change, which increases the complexity and time to delivery. I'm moving this one to the future consideration category so that it can be discussed in product strategy meetings. I can't commit to any kind of a timeline right now, but I have a clear understanding of the use case and the need for this to happen. Thanks again!

I pay some suppliers with eft. I'm told by my bank that I should add all suppliers into one file and then send it out. There will be one withdrawal from my account but amounts get distributed to the suppliers accordingly in the eft file. To pay each supplier with a different eft defeats the benefit of efts and costs more in fees.

When you have selected a supplier in your Deposit transaction, you should be able to apply a payment against multiple invoices as long as they have an outstanding balance and exist on that single supplier. Do you have EFT's from multiple suppliers getting grouped together somehow?
